About Me

My Blog, go read....

Check me out at Faceparty too....

Introducing Stephage's blog...

Then I have slid in Hwang...

A gothic spirit wandering down life's highway with a red Aftershock in one hand and a large phone bill in the other. Its sunny outside, warm in here, and I am stuck between the two.

My Interests

Playing guitar (neglecting at the moment), nature, photography, singing and dancing, looooots of reading :D

I'd like to meet:

At the moment, I am set. But they must have an alternative outlook on life and a love of things that make you go "waaaah.!!"

Have a gander at some photos...

Here are THE MOST important people in my life. They keep me (in)sane and happy.

Firstly there is the campest member of our little group (not including myself obviously)... Hwang. He is a man who forgets everything after two pints.

Secondly we have David. If you go to Hobbits, then you know him. Even people in America probably know him. He is very lovely. The Queen Of Hobbits.

Then we have Sarah. She is lovely too, and we have been through some bad times and she has always been there. I don't noticably have any eyeliner on in this photo. That is weird.!!

Love them ALL.!!!!

Music:

Screaming, guitars, screaming guitars and Guitaring screams. Give me something hard rock and I will bounce off the walls. I can't dance, but i don't care.I also have a hot love of beat things like European Funk/Soul, House, some hardcore dance, and stuff like Zero7.Take me back to the olden days with Dire Straits or Fleetwood Mac and I will sing along with you.But give me Pulp and I will be there forever, singing the songs of being poor in a poor world, of living in a northern city. Listen to the lyrics and tell me you can't feel like you are with him. Listen to Wickerman off the "I Love Life" album and try not to be confused because it seems so real. Hear the words...

"I went there again for old time's sake Hoping to find the child's toy horse ride that played such a ridiculously tragic tune. It was still there - but none of the kids seemed interested in riding on it. And the cafe was still there too The same press-in plastic letters on the price list & scuffed formica-top tables. I sat as close as possible to the seat where I'd met you that autumn afternoon. And then, after what seemed like hours of thinking about it I finally took your face in my hands & I kissed you for the first time And a feeling like electricity flowed thru' my whole body. And I immediately knew that I'd entered a completely different world. And all the time, in the background, the sound of that ridiculously heartbreaking child's ride outside."

So damn real. So real indeed.

Movies:

Misery, girly chick flicks like Notting Hill *blushes*, comedy films like Airplane or Austin Powers, or something a bit scary but I am sorry if I hurt your leg when something makes me jump.

Television:

At the moment I have been watching a loooot of Buffy. As well as plenty of Friends, Frasier, Father Ted and other things that begin with F. And, of course, M*A*S*H (but only series one to three).Give me comedy, watch me giggle til crackers come out of my nose.!

Books:

Mostly factual, but love comic strips like Garfield and Dilbert etc, war novels like the divine Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancey, James Herriot also has a special place in my heart and of course Spike Milligan.

Heroes:

Well, Jarvis Cocker obviously, and Murray Walker, a man who got paid for talking about F0rmula One and Touring Car, something I do everytime the racing is on anyway.!!!Andy Rouse BTCC champion and Ayrton Senna who I used to love to hate but he was so much more of a genius than that bloody Kraut Schumacher could ever be.
