I was born in a little Province village near Soest, NRW, Germany and grew up in a pretty safe environment. I finished my Elementary, High School and College in Soest and took up a profession as a kind of nurse for many years. I went to study architecture and landscape for a while in Dortmund before I left Germany in 1998 for the Phipippines.
I am living now since October 1998 in Davao City, Philippines. After my DTS (Discipleship Training School) I stayed in Davao for a 3 years Leadership Training as a YWAM staff and I never regret that I did this. I enjoy seeing lives changed and that is what my job is all about. Presently I am part of a team that reaches out to an urban poor community of Davao, called Adao. At the same time I am going to lead the upcoming DTS in October 2007, as it is my passion. I am training young people to make a difference in this world through the life they live, either as a missionary or as a responsible member of the society. It's a joy to my heart as I see young people develop and change their envirnment.
I am very blessed with the life I am living, being able to connect with people all over the world, having friends all over the world, even though I don't have a family back in Germany anymore.
