The H-Man

Abdullah J. McNeal better known as The H-Man Himself was born on December 2nd 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child the H-man's hobby was writing short stories and reading alot of Steven King material but as the years passed the H-man became more interested in writing music thanks to some of Public Enemy's work which changed his focus to hip-hop. The H-Man recorded his first rap song at ten years of age,it was dedicated to his cousin Mark who passed away in 1992 from a drive by shooting. By 1994 the H-Man's mother received a job offer in Smyrna, Ga as a nurse and thats where he got his first real experience of the hip-hop world. Smyrna was maybe ten minuets outside the city of Atlanta and it was very unlikely to find rappers from that area. Thru out high school H-Man was known as one of the best lyricist and he was one of the first mc's to record and promote his music to students.It didn't take very long for the H-Man to get a local buzz with the support of friends around the city area. After his senior year he moved back to Chicago, Illinois and attended Northeastern Illinois University but school wasn't his main focus because he still had the passion of his music career on his mind. Unfortunately in early 2004 the H-Man was shot by neighborhood gang members but thru God's grace he survived a gun shot that was four inches from his spinal cord. After the life and death experience the H-Man moved back down south to Georgia and locked himself in the studio and went to work on his music full time. At this point he is fulltime on his grind and as he said: he might be short and skinny but his lyrics are definately monumental.So fans stay tuned!!!! H-Man
