Tired of the same old sounds? Cliched conventions? Wilted genres? Good! You have washed up on friendly shores!His Left Hand is an unruly consortium of my alter-egos. I have a passion for being set loose in the infinite sandbox of sound and think of the whole palette of sound: rhythm, dissonance, beats, timbre, melody, found sounds, electronic noisegasms, etc. and three thousand years of musical tradition as being grist for the mill. My pieces generally contain all or most of these elements chopped, diced, and pureed and, as a consequence, all of my pieces are generally very different from one another...each piece having its own auditory logic and sonority. It is my hope that these pieces take the listener on far-flung journeys through the heights and depths; the infernal skitterings combined with transcendent beauty.I recently set up my web-page at www.hislefthand.com. You can find these and many other pieces available for free listening. You can also find "deluxe" versions for download as individual tracks or CDs. The downloads are generally extended play with resolute explorations into dub and unexplored sonic and thematic territory. They are at a much higher mp3 resolution, as well.
