The Burkhart Underground was conceived as a family and a trust. It grew out of the home that was created 20 years ago at the birth of Trinity Valentine Burkhart on North Halsted Street in Chicago. The establishment of the Burkhart Underground is the realization of a continuous prayer for Trinity. What you have felt within its walls is the manifestation of a Great Love that was deposited at her birth. Indeed, it is such an awareness that has nurtured and sustained Chicago's ONLY non-commercial, all ages, non smoking, non drinking Music Art Poetry Venue for nearly nine years.
