Narany (unfortunately often misspelled as Narani) is one of the most interesting new faces on Croatian musical scene. The singer and text writer, together with her respectable producing team, is on numerous European and Asian charts.Narany is a new dance/club project of the world famous producer Torsten Stenzel and DJ Paul Lomax. During his long career, Stenzel has cooperated with many eminent musicians such as Moby, Chris Rea, Faithless, Tina Turner, ATB and Vanessa Mae. He has won many golden and platinum awards for his compilations, has been nominated for "ECHO", created many great trance hits of the 90-s and made the music for the movie “Braveheart”. Lately, he has been working on the albums of Nelly Furtado, Spice Girls and after moving to Antigua, he will continue producing more shiny tracks under the Caribbean sun. Paul Lomax belongs to the small circle of the world’s most famous DJ’s. With his delightful house sound he has become distinguished around Europe and lately he started to pursue himself with production. He worked on funky house remixes of great hits from Ike and Tina Turner “Raise your hand”, numerous dance compilations, which are also regularly the most selling.Their joint career started with their performance at DORA, the Croatian qualification round for the Eurovision song festival with the song “You are mine”, which was later, in the remix form, on the world dance compilations (Islands vol.4 on BigCityBeats). The Second single “Nothing in this world”, which was recorded in June 2007 in the Liquid Records Ibiza studio, was a summer hit in Croatia, and in autumn the song was a star of top lists in Turkey. This enabled Lithuanian DJs Andy Lau and Virus J to remix the online-only single ‘Nothing in this world’ to fill some dancefloors.The attractive sexy voice of Narany and an excellent mixture of progressive and tribal recruited thousands of fans. First two singles are just an intro to the album that will appear in 2008. It will be a mixture of all styles of electronic music, from house tribal, electro to trance that Narany is absolutely enjoying.With a new song “Save me”, Narany is just proselytizing to the admirers of Trance and is ready to make its mark in the Western Europe market; making its first steps in the Benelux in March 2008. Narany is also a successful manager of a club program Famous and organizer of many events in Croatia (club The Best, Zagreb, Lazareti and Belvedere, Dubrovnik, Papaja, Zrce, Novalja). She brought to Croatia many famous names such as Tomcraft, Barbara Tucker and Silicon Soul, Marshall Jefferson, Litlle Loui Vega etc. Famous is unique in Croatia because it always has an international resident and event is regularly attended by a great number of VIP guests and media. Narany promoted the new album ¨Love In Your Eyes¨on Tuborg Green Beat Festival in Klub Papaya (Zrce), place famous by its high quality electronic music. The promotion took place on the 8th of August 2008., and Narany shared the stage with the biggest world known stars – Eric Prydz, Seamus Haji, Chris Lake.This artist always likes to point out that without love she gets from her family none of this would have sense. For Narany, family and music are beginning and the end, great love for whole life.
