About Me

If you don't have the time to read, you don't have the time or the tools to write. ~Stephen King
Legenden werden geboren und in kleinen gepolsterten Zimmern aufbewahrt. Einsam lernst Du das zu lieben was Du nie beruhren wirst
I WILL NOT ACCEPT FRIEND REQUESTS FROM PEOPLE ASKING ME TO BE IN THEIR MOB OR MAFIA, BE THEIR PET, GIVE THEM ENERGY, OR ANY OTHER STUPID APP. I WILL ALSO NOT FRIEND YOU IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS JUST SEEKING FRIENDS TO BULK UP YOUR LIST. ONLY ADD ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MY WRITING! ~Thank you!~Thanks for checking out my space! I'm a local girl trying to break into the world of writing, and I figured this was as good a place as any ;). I've left a synopsis for each of my published books here for you, and if you read my blog there are other samples of writing to check out. I update whenever I write something new, either putting it directly in the blog or leaving a link. Feel free to leave comments and criticism, all is welcome.
As for my life outside of writing, I'm married to a great guy and we've been together since 1998. I'm a displaced farm girl, having moved to the city to be with him in 2000. (I miss trees.) I have a very tight circle of friends that mean the world to me, and we are a family. I have no children, but I have a nephew who means more than life to me, and a fat cat who takes up a good amount of my attention. I love music (playing it, listening to it, going to live shows, everything about it) reading, nature, spending time with my husband and friends, and when I'm not doing all of that I work 40+ hours a week at a boring job just like everyone else in the world.
Not very interesting, but I guess that's where the stories come in, yeah?
Enjoy!
These books are for sale at Dog Ears Book Store, Rotten Jack's Creep Shack and Sideshow Images, as well as available online through BarnesandNoble.com, Amazon.com, and PublishAmerica.com I also have copies for sale, just message me for details!!!
From Blood to Fire
What would you do to never be lonely again? Rose throws off the shackles of her conservative Christian upbringing and finds new life and a new fascination with the supernatural in the gothic arts scene. But tragedy follows at her heels. After her lover kills himself, Rose flees to Buffalo, seeking things she cannot name. Her loneliness is like a living thing, and it draws to her someone who can understand the pain of her loss—Lucien. He is everything Rose needs—handsome, enchanting, dark and beautiful and undead. Lucien is a vampire. He offers her love; she asks him for life. They begin a love affair that might make eternity seem too short. In New Orleans, they meet new vampires, the Forsaken, and ignite a fire of jealousy that threatens to destroy the world they’ve built. The greatest curse is loneliness.
Eternal Winter:
Ana is the biggest fan of the goth-rock cult band Eternal Winter. She spends her life’s savings to follow them on tour. The voice of Rafael, the lead singer, mesmerizes her. When he sings, he is like an angel--or a demon. Rafael is only able to give himself fully when he is singing. Offstage, he is tormented by despair and unable to feel at peace. When they come to rest in their hometown of Buffalo, a chance meeting with Rafael shakes Ana’s life to its foundation. A chance for love brings them hope...and tragedy

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet my heroes of the literary world, Jacqueline Carey and Stephen King.
As for the everyday kind of people, I just want to meet down to earth, intelligent people who have can make me laugh and aren't fake.
