Rosebud Records Presents Mickey Fortune
Born Mitchell Ray Fortune December 2, in Dresden, TN. His father was in the military so his family moved several times, finally settling in the Elizabethtown, KY area. Mickey started playing the guitar and singing at an early age. By the time he was fifteen, he was performing at the Joel Ray Sprowls, Lincoln jamboree in Hodgesville, KY. He made personal appearances in the area as well as appearing on radio and television programs.
In 1971 he moved to Miami, FL where he worked as a steel guitar player and vocalist in several of the local night clubs, also doing some television and recordings. In 1994 he began writing gospel music, hoping to have his songs recorded by another artist. His mother and his wife encouraged him to record the songs himself. In 1997 he agreed to do so. Mickey contacted long time friend, Roger Ball and asked him to produce the album. Roger agreed to do so and they began setting up the studios, and enlisting the help of the incomparable Ronnie Light as the engineer, also producing the talents of some of the greatest musicians in Nashville.
Mickey performed in church on several occasions, and one of the members referred him to Vera Vanderpool at Rosebud Records. Vera was very interested in the album and agreed to release it on the Rosebud label. Mickey has placed his album in the very capable hands of the lord Jesus, and turned the listening over to the greatest folks in the world, "the fans." his hope is that you will give it a listen and are blessed by it as much as Mickey was recording it.
Mickey's singles have appeared on the following:

Brice Henderson Bio, Rosebud Records
Brice Henderson was born and raised in Maryland; a suburb of Washington, D.C. His mother instilled in him a love for music. From an early age the radio was always on; set to country by his mom or late 50's early 60's rock by his sister. Brice said first he learned to play the radio, then guitar. About that time the Beatles came along."The Beatles changed things for a lot of us, I saw them having so much fun and getting so much attention. I was hooked. I thought this was the life for me!"
After playing in several high school bands and still managing to graduate, Brice moved to Fort Collins Colorado where he became involved in the local club scene. Brice was very well received and worked steadily playing his music. Nashville seemed like a logical extension of that popularity. In 1977 Brice packed up a U-Haul truck and rolled into music row, towing his pickup truck behind him. The first few years were tough for brice. He admits he was very green.
Finally BMI hooked Brice up with Scott Tutt in 1981 and things began to happen. His first album on Union Station yielded 3 top 100 singles. Brice was one of billboard's top ten new country acts in 1983, the same year his son, Paul, was born. Then came the mean lean years. Brice produced a gospel album on himself in 198, then spent the next few years watching and waiting for another music opportunity. That opportunitycame with the formation of Rosebud Records.
Brice has scored seven number ones on MP3.com with the following singles:
Welcome Home
Talk of the Town
Make a Servant of Me
When You Get on the Rock (you get on the roll)
We Will All Rejoice
God's Holy Light
How Great Thou Art
Brice Henderson has appeared on all five Rosebud samplers shipped out across America and to various parts of Europe, and he has charted in more than twenty countries. His single Welcome Home also appeared on Stuart Cameron's hotdisc volume 46 in 2002 and received airplay and charted worldwide.
Brice Henderson also has made numerous appearances on the major radio compilation sampler MACOUNTRY and has appeared alongside Nashville's biggest recording artists, including George Jones, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Rogers, Bryan White, Travis Tritt, Lee Ann Womack and Jp Dee Messinna , just to name a few.
MACOUNTRY singles include:
Welcome Home
Talk of the Town
Brice has appeared on the cover of MACC (Mainly Adult Contemporary Christian) and has appeared on the MACC disc with the hit singles:
How Great Thou Art
God's Holy Light
He Gathers The Lambs
We Will All Rejoice
Talk of the Town
Brice Henderson recorded the duet "You're Not Here" with label mate Allison Owsley in 2006 and it currently appears on her latest Rosebud album "Strong Enough." To listen to this song go to myspace.com/fateshouseofmusic and the Publisher currently has it featured as song of the month for March 2007. ~ A note from J3…with love, ~
Homegrown in…Orleans, MI
The way we feel about music is… "Music has been apart of my life from the first time I can remember. Growing up, I remember my mother singing and dancing in the living room along with my sisters and I - we had a great time - what fun! Music ignites me, it sets my soul on fire." ~ Janel . . . "Music is a creative outlet for me, and I am thankful my parents made me take guitar lessons as a young child! I am grateful for being able to write and share our music of J3." ~ Jenny . . ."I'd be lost without music – it is the one bond that unites people together. It is something all of us as human beings have in common. Everyone can relate to music in one way or another. It is our common bond, a true way that we can embrace life and each other!" ~ Jill . . . "We only hope that we can use our small sphere of influence to touch others through our friendship, love, and music." ~ J3.
The Songs and Country Project…When we began the song selection for this project we couldn't help but feel the blessings bestowed upon us – together collectively. We are blessed to have true friendship and family love. As kids we attended PIPER, a one-room country schoolhouse in Orleans, MI – one of a rare few that remained at the time – this is where our "country roots" stem from and where our friendship began!
We are J3 – Country school & Sunday school gal pals – girl scouts – sisters – high school best friends – bridesmaids – you name it, we've been there – together! Through the good and bad – we've made it through together, helping each other through heartbreaks, challenges, letting go, growing up, moving on, knowing forgiveness and finding comfort in God! The Rosebud Records Project, Best of Friends album, gives you a peek at our friendship and our struggles. It captures the "feeling and spirit of J3," a collage of memories and moments. It's what makes us, J3!
J3 are still receiving rave reviews from their performane LIVE at the Detroit HOEDOWN on MAY! J3 joined Little Big Town, Joe Nichols, Emerson Drive, Ty Herndon, Jason Michael Carroll, Heartland, Josh Gracin, The Wreckers, Aaron Tippin, Carolina Rain, Chris Young, Bucky Covington, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley and more country music artists at this AWESOME EVENT! SEE YA'LL again in 2008!

Allison Owsley Bio, Category: Music
Allison began singing and performing on stage at a young age. From the beginning she knew that she was Nashville bound. Coming from a small town, Cross Timbers, Missouri, didn't slow Allison down. Knowing that Branson was not the place for her, Allison packed her bags and headed for the lights of Tennessee at the young age of 19. Six years later she is now a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business and is currently finding material for her next album.
Allison makes her debut on Rosebud Records along with making her Fan Fair debut in 2005.
