NHNH Street Team
Acclaim for NHNH
In February 2007 NHNH auditioned for the Live & Unsigned South Coast Idol Competition in Bath. They went through to the Regional Finals and won Best Regional Band (Bath & South West) in the competition.
Here’s what some of the South Coast Idol Judges said about them:-
“Definitely one of the most original bands I’ve seen in a long time. Unique style and sound, these guys really are a cut above, and will go very far. The frontman knows how to work the audience and has a very distinct and appealing stage presence. No Head No Headache are one of a kind and are set for very very big thingsâ€
-Marnie Delroy-Buelles, South Coast Idol Judge and of Bath FM
"No Head No Headache walked on stage, and before a note was struck, Tom the frontman held a captive audience with his chilling stage presence. This quirky young star gave a spine tingling introduction, to which his band members sparked up one of the catchiest riffs I have heard in a long time. They gelled so well you couldn't help but be drawn into their quirky, fun filled world. The show came alive with an incredible vocal performance, briefly distracted by a top class screaming guitar solo, played behind Jake’s back! By the time this young band screamed to a close, the audience were left begging for more. I for one, will be following this band's progression and going to see a live show. These guys really are one to watch, new, exciting and original. They will blow you away!"
-Laoise O'Hanlon, South Coast Idol Judge and singer/songwriter from London
“These guys are one to watch, front man Tom is fantastic. If they keep working hard to build their fan base they give themselves every opportunity to making it!
Hopefully be seeing more of these guys!â€
-Chris Grayston of Future Music and South Coast Idol
"The absolute BEST blues/rock band
you are gonna hear for a very, VERY long time!"
- Dale Corbitt, Justice Promotions"Blues rock, gruff vocals, harmonic
blues fretwork and backing vocals to spare… great guitar work...
they are also probably just in time for the NME to start bumming this kind of music"
-BloggerFrog
"crashing through the haze and smoke of a sweaty live club. The guitars bend and shake with a battery of riffs reminiscent of the glory days of rock n roll"
"the whole kit and kaboodle is glued together with some precise, punky drumming and some slap-a-delic basslines"
