I am a Political Science major, and enjoy politics alot. I also like to travel, and enjoy traveling the world. I would like to begin a career in government and be able to help this country get out of the major hole that the current administration has dug for us. Music:
I like Eminem. Flipside and the normal and usaul hip hop mix of music. I also picked up an intense fascination for techno and house music while I was in Europe. Anything that you can dance to!
Movies:
I enjoy most movies. I can just sit back and listen to the story. I like that, I hated being around people that had to critique every little angle of a film, just enjoy the damn thing for what it is.
Television:
Desperate Housewives, Lost, The West Wing, Will and Grace (or Jack and Karen to some.) I also like Family Guy and the Simpsons. I constantly watch the news. It's a bad habit I know, but you never know when the world might change in some way or another. The Boondocks are a great laugh, and Footballers Wives from the United Kingdom puts Desperate Housewives to shame.
Books:
The Da Vinci Code, well when I read it it will be one of my favorites. Time magazine and Newsweek get a lot of attention during the week. The European Dream.
Heroes:
Hmmm. Gavin Newsom comes to mind. He seems like the only politician these days that has enough guts to stand up against the status quo of society and do whats right. Probably anyone else who stands up for those that can't for one reason or another. It's amazing that this country was born when the citizens of the colonies got so fed up with British control and taxation. Yet when parts of today's population begin to speak against our government's actions we are labeled "terrorists." How did we let our country turn into a place where our leader can use the phrase "With us or against us?" Is there no grey area? Is it only good and evil now?
