Möse started out as a band somewhere around may 2004. The line-up remained unchanged since then: karel: bass-vocals, geof: guitars, david: drums. Möse are from Belgium, Europe and have played numerous gigs in Belgium and the neighbouring countries. Musically the band finds its inspiration in the 'long' tradition of doom-metal, sludgecore, industrial noise and its various offsprings. Möse’s sound is thick and heavy, with lot’s of low-end bass combined with uncompromising riffs and original songstructures. The band name comes from the bandmembers local slang and can be translated as ‘sludge’.
The first recording a 7" vinyl record was released on Mösambique Records and a some time ago the band released a split cd with Hog Mountin'. Most recently they recorded the album ‘Halfway to Nowhere’ on Solitude Records from Russia. The album was recorded at ccr studio, well known for recording heavy music. Those curious to know how the band sounds today must check out this album.
