Oswald started doin' his thing on the decks by age of 14 under the name MToaSM (movingtruthofasickmind). With schoolfriend Marsman he started his first live-project, crashing all kinda venues with their mash-up of all genres. Right away Oswald laid his hands on the d'nb influences in the sets and never stopped till now...
Listening from soulfull music to progressive shit, Oswald expanded his taste in music. A blend of styles that you still hear in his dj-sets now, going from liquid, over the more funky stuff, straight ahead to the dark and heavy stuff. And offcourse, Mr. Moris ain't scared of a good old killa-tune that makes the booties go 'snapp'...
..When it comes to his technique; Oswald is a fast mixer (on 2 or 3 decks) that likes to construct new tunes with the vinyl in his bag. With great influence of thé Mr. Andy C, Futurebound, Shy Fx, Dj Zinc, Wontime, and others... Oswald created his own style that fills up the floor with sweating bodies. Maybey due to his energetic prefomance, because Oswald always challenges the crowd to a dance-showdown...
Thanks to his clubbing-knowledge (he started going out in club Silo, near his house, on the age of 12) Oswald started with his own party-line with 'Only Dead Fish Follow The Stream' as a kick-off, working with close friend and dj Ulterior Motive...
Talking about collabs, Oswald always tried to fight the decks together with close friends. Like DIPTH THONG, a project he started with dj Hypercutz to bring a new flava into the d'nb-scene. Reprasenting fast mixing, turntablism and bootlegs on 3 decks and 2 mixers...
