i'm Matt...or Mangelo...or whatever.
i work at tanger, selling shoes for a sizeable hourly profit.
I like music,and lots of it. i enjoy reading, anything i can get my hands on. The glass is half empty, anyone can tell you that, but i'm used to it. ^_^
i am amazingly considerate towards other people (when i attempt it, apparently sometimes im a mean asshole without my even realizing =/) fuckthat,

aside from all my obvious mental and social deficiencies, people continue calling me, which sort of scares me...not even i want ot be around myself at times
When i'm trying to be social, i just wanna meet up w/ some good friends and chill the fuck out. Sitting around with friends watching tv or talking. waxing philosophical, smokin'. whatever can be done in social situations, although i dont drink (well, RARELY drink).
I've come to the conclusion that it's too easy to take stock of yourself and your life and realize what is wrong with it, and what you don't like. its too easy to dwell on the negative. but conversely its also way too easy to keep yourself productive, busy, and miss out on the fun things in life. finding a happy medium is the most difficult challenge i've found yet
I consider myself with a bit of artistic flair... I don't much have an actual talent for creating art (people tell me different, but i refuse to believe them) but I'm very quick to pick up on artistic styles and appreciate them for what they are. on any given day where i'm doing nothing at all i'll either sit around on my comp chatting.. banging on my guitar, or in my bed sleeping (alone =/). I'll give anyone around me extensive educational lessons on anything that is interesting at the time...just because thats the kind of shit i find most interesting. I'll drive around listening to NPR and smoking ciggarettes (UGH a nasty habit i need to quit). If you pose a question to me i don't know the answer to, most likely i'll find out, simply cause ignorance irks me.
i think i once knew the meaning of life, while tripping on some mushrooms many years back..I forgot what it is by the time i sobered up, but i consider myself much more enlightened for the experience :-PEDIT: Fuck yazz

i'm an avid fan of NPR and its satellite station WSHU (YOUR source for NPR news and classical music ^_^) ...when i'm not listening to a cd or any other music player paraphenallia...thats the only station i listen to on the radio while i'm in my car (and webstreams..live broadcasts via the computer..

Monty Python and funny shit. Quentin Tarantino movies,although i havent seen kill bill yet. uuhh..other..movies...full metal jacket is a good one

Television:

adult swim, mother fuckerssssss! (but its been turning ghey these past few years.) anything on cartoon network, spike tv, sci-fi, fx, comedy central. I live my life in the upper 32-50's on the cable channels (old school long island basic cable)

Books:

sci-fi and sci-fi fantasy is my fav genres. but as well as other shit. one of my fav books i own is Schauppenhauers Telescope...The Art of War (by machiavelli)...ya...anything
