Jasna Popovic, pianist, was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where she receved her first piano lesson at age 6. She receved second prize at the national piano competition in Belgrade, fourth at the international competition in Rom and also participated at festivals around the world, Italy, Germany, Austria etc. Miss Popovic recieved her bachelor degree from Music Hochschule in Munich, where she studied under Prof. Gitti Pirner and Prof. Claude- France Journes. 2005 she was invited to play at the International Keyboard Festival in New York. There, Miss Popovic was introduced to Prof. Nina Lelchuk and decided to stay in New York and continue her education with this extra-ordinary professor. 2006 Miss Popovic recieved Passantino award for special achivements. Jasna Popovic made recording with Serbian etno music.
