Rich Glica "Zarzan" is known for his creative style of avant garde drumming, jungle jazz, colorful artwork and poetry, and unique style of dress. He uses outrageousness, diversity, and brilliant colors to attract attention and add light to a generic world of dull fashion. His pseudonyms are Star Black and the Joker. He has several bands and numerous musicians who he has performed and recorded with over the last 35 years, as well as producing a total of 50 albums and unreleased 150 reels of tape to be released in the future. Among his credits are filmworks, upcoming television series cameo appearances, artshows and several musical performances on drums and keyboards with The Children of Atlantis, The Lab Rats, The Diamonds of Oasis, Kong Project, and Caged Ape, Zombi Staatsopera, Street Cannibals, performances on radio, newpapers interviews in Lower Fairfield County. Look for him in the upcoming feature film "Across the Universe" with Bono by Julie Taymor and "Diners," a new television series.
