Velvet Water performs at Music Festivals including The Goose on The Lake Music Festival, The Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival, The Poppy Mountain Music Festival, The Gateway Music & Arts Festival as well as many music venues such as The Jettie Baker Theatre, The Leeds Center for the Arts, The Dame and The Frog Holler Amphitheater. Some of the nationally renowned artists that they have shared lineups with include: The Goose Creek Symphony, Keller Williams, Cornmeal, Tea Leaf Green, Todd Snider, Trampled By Turtles, Monte Montgomery, Weber, The Corduroy Road, Moon Taxi, David Gans, The Nappy Roots, Seven Mary Three, The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers, Green Genes, The Farewell Drifters, Webb Wilder and Barefoot Jerry.
As recording artists Velvet Water has taken steps to create original material that showcases a smooth and refreshing sound. Velvet Water has released two independent albums "Boots" and "Live at Red Barn Radio" Velvet Water plays a majority of original material, with crowd favorites including: Waterlogged Mind, The Shrop Song, The Drought, Kentucky Girls, That Song & Sweet Patchouli. VW also throws in a mix of cover songs ranging from Traditional Bluegrass tunes to Folk/Americana/Blues and all other possible genres of music.
