About Me

The Reprobates Brotherhood are a Back Patch Bike Club Club formed from the London chapter of The Celtic Warriors 7 years ago. After parting with the Celtic Warriors,we decided that as a group of brothers we had too much to lose by disbanding ourselves. So on the 4th July 1999,just 3 days after we left the Celtic Warriors we decided to form our own club adhering to our principles and not to be bothered by the politics and infighting that had marred us previously. After consultation with officers from MC's within the home counties that we had partied with for years,we notified them of our intention to form an independant Brotherhood Club. The response was positive and we were actively encouraged to go ahead. Anyone who has been involved with the birth of a club will know how complicated it can become to come up with the Name and Colours and to draw up a charter. Finally,we were there and patches were on and worn with pride and we had our Charter. The first couple of years were spent building a solid foundation for the club and making new friends. We held our first rally at The Mucky Duck's Bomb site (now sadly gone, some great parties held there over the years,if you can ignore the toxic waste) which was a huge success and made us proud as well as exhausting us all. We gained new members and lost a few, most tragically our Treasurer Biddley, who was one of the cornerstone founders of the club, who was killed in May 2004 on his bike. After 5 years The Reprobares Brotherhood were stronger and wiser. We had managed to form our own club, drink with anyone we wanted to without the politics getting in the way and without being drawn into feuds. We felt very passionately at the inception of the club that we didn't want to go Back Patch MC because it involved a different set of rules and meant us forgoing some of our principles. However, after 5 years things were different. We were an accepted club that was known to be fiercly loyal to their own,who had respect for all that respected them and after being asked by officers in other MC's that were friends, why we didnt go for MC status,we started to reasses the situation. The general consensus of the Reprobates Brotherhood was that it was the right time to accept MC status, and be in the position to not to have to compromise on any of our ideals. Again, meetings with clubs that needed to know and discussions to be had were done.Coincidently it fell to July 4th 2004 that we stepped up.London Hells Angels threw a party for us at their Clubhouse with many other clubs present, and announced us. It was a great night for the club and one of my proudest moments in memory.the culmination of many years work with the best bunch of Bros a person can have. So 7 years in and we;re still at it and still loving it.New members coming in,and old founders still there.Hagrid Vice President G.F.R.D.
