I am here to share my story so that I can hopefully be a blessing to someone else. What's my story? Born and raised in Richmond, VA, I grew up in the church. But as some know, growing up the church doesn't always feed your young soul as it should. In my high school years I turned to wrong crowd. I've done everything from selling and doing drugs, drinking, skipping school, disrespecting my parents and others. I thought I was living the good life.....until my friends started either getting shot, killed, or locked up. I didn't want my life to end like that. Needless to say God continued to have a hold on my life. I can truly say and be a living testimony that God will allow you to go through things in life in order to shape and mold you.I wasn't always a Hip Hop Christian Rapper. Back in 1999 you could find me in the middle of the high school freestyle rap competitions. Many knew me in my former rap life as Chameleon, but now I would like to introduce you to me present rap life. I am J.R. AKA Jesus Reigns...can I tell you about Jesus?So sit back, relax, and enjoy God's work. While you listen, I'm going to continue to be that mouthpiece spreading the Gospel.
