FAITHFUL CROSSINGS

About Me

Two time Diamond Award nominees, Faithful Crossings is a dynamic ministry based in central Florida. At the heart of the ministry is Tammy Sumner, former member of the acclaimed all-women's Southern Gospel quartet, Sweetwater Revival (based in Minneapolis, MN). Tammy has spent most of her life singing in the Southern Gospel industry and so it was no surprise that when Tammy and her family relocated back home to the south, that they would start a ministry of their own.

Curtis, Tammy's husband is also a big part of this ministry, lending his smooth tenor voice and his huge heart for people. Curtis has a love for sharing his faith through music and loves the art of creating beautiful and unique harmonies. Curtis has been in various groups throughout the years but took a little "time off" the stage while Tammy was with Sweetwater Revival to head up the technical side of things; now they are once again teaming up to form a very powerful ministry in Southern Gospel music.
Also featured in each concert are young Taylor & Lauren Sumner... just getting their "feet wet" in Southern Gospel music but, so far, they have completely won the hearts of all who see and hear them.
In 2008 Al Mercer was added as the family's new bass singer. Al has been singing professionally for many years and his sunny personality and smooth bass voice is a great addition to the group.
Lisa Nielson is the most recent addition to Faithful Crossings, she has been active in various music ministries over the past few years and is becoming a great addition to Faithful Crossings.

Faithful Crossings' mission is to bring the message of hope in Christ to a hopeless world. Pair up a timeless message with close family harmonies, sweet childlike faith and a soulful sound and you have "Faithful Crossings".

Be sure to get your copy of their latest CD titled "God's Got a Plan"; it contains 6 original songs that you will only hear from Faithful Crossings and 2 songs that feature Taylor and Lauren Sumner... also mixed in are a few of your old favorites such as Near the Cross, the Old Ship of Zion and Hold to God's Unchanging Hand. You can order the CD by visiting our website (www.FaithfulCrossings.com) or check back here soon for more information.
