About Me

We made worlds out of nothing--but that nothing was no vacancy or void, only our refuse, our mistaken detritus.
We made images in darkness and extinguished our only light to illuminate our empty tableaux.
We forgot we were imagining and so found everything presented to us, forced upon us. We thought we
We thought we were
We thought we were resisting.
We thought we could reject the ideas and embrace our own. We imagined a them, a they, an opposition, an oppressor.
And we did reject the idea, but forgot they were our own. We offered, instead, our own free will which was not our own. There was a they, a them, but we had forgotten who we were and so who they were and so we fought our self.
We are the gods we fight and love, we are the hidden quiet places where idols of forgotten thoughts lie broken amidst remembrances of ruin.
We are the desolation and the fool grass clinging to dry rocks, settlers of the waste, remembering now to forget the dead soil long enough to make it live.
When we remember, we will be certain we forgot. When we resist, we will be certain we are not.

My Interests

ecclesiastical incense
anarchy
Historiography
Real and fabled mothers who drown their children, one at a time, and the strange unnamed god whose rites they follow.
Propaganda and its discontents.
Airships

I'd like to meet:

Forlorn myth-makers, rogue storytellers, and anyone who tells lies to tell the truth.
Violent souls who hate civil society because it's too violent.
Anyone who continues to believe in something beautiful even though it cripples you, in something true even though it makes the rest of the world a lie, in something so bright it blinds you.
Anyone who likes to paste Ayn Rand's face on massive obese naked women straddling parking cones and yet still feels unsatisfied.
China Mieville
Patricia McKillip
I have a very hard time talking to people who don't read books. I won't understand you, and you won't understand me. I'll be thinking about all the minds that have dreamt this world and its shadows, you'll be playing hockey. Honestly, we probably won't work out.

Please send me an email along with add requests unless i already know you. I do not add bands i don't listen to, nor do i add comedians who are not Paula Poundstone or Laura Solon.

NONFICTION
[doesn't exist. everything written is a lie, otherwise it wouldn't be worth reading. only those who lie can really ever tell the truth. even recipe books (actually, especially recipe books) are full of lies. That's okay.]

Heroes:

Anyone who's ever sabotaged anything, torched a car, blown themselves up, broken a shop window, broken people out of prison, stolen food from a grocerystore and given it to a houseless person, smoked where you're not supposed to, "pirated" anything, or otherwise made love to yourself and the world, and then lied about it afterwards.
