I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm about to be 27. Which is cool and I'm still totally comfortable with that. I think I have accomplished quite a bit: I graduated college, live on my own, have a great girl and no debt. I have a successful career, sweet TVs, great friends and family. There isn't much else really.

My Interests

Honestly? I know many people write this, but I truly have too many to list. I swear! Its not just a cliche. I am most interested, though, in doing things I have yet never done: always up for an adventure.

I'd like to meet:

Whomever

Music:

There are a million but some new stuff I am getting into include, but are not limited to the following; Matt Pond PA, The Fray, Nicole Atkins & The Sea, Copeland, Mae, Jack's Mannequin, Bloc Party.Stuff I'm listeining to after a hiatus; Linkin Park, Cold, The Shins, Journey, Filter, Fuel, Hot Hot Heat, Snow Patrol, Yellowcard, Something for KateBands I will always listen to; Beatles, Third Eye Blind, Train, Dave Matthews Band's old stuff, Northen State, Jack Johnson,Music I wish I was intomore ; Foo Fighters, Elvis, Weezer, Marvin Gaye, Soundgarden, Zeppelin, Lisa Loeb, STP, U2,Music I like that is grossly embarassing; Go West, Foreigner, Chicago, God-Des, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, Ace of Base, Neil Diamond

Movies:

Comedy is king and these are the best Anchorman, Eurotrip, Dodgeball, Old School, Ferris Bueller, Sideways, . But I am way too into way too many chick flicks, these are my favorites:(no one is gonna see this, right?) High Fidelity...any Cusack movie for that matter, You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally, 10 Things I Hate About You, Titanic, Dirty Dancing. eek. Christmas movies rule! Home Alone, Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, Christmas Vacation. Real "films" ain't too shabby, but I seem to be drawing a blank on most of those....TBA.

Television:

Despite having the nicest TV in Bay Ridge (self proclaimed), I don't regularly watch anything. Whatever is on Discovery HD seems to be popular though.

Books:

I didn't read books in school since I never even bought them. I finally think I am far enough removed from school to start reading for fun again. So, what do I find myself reading? The philosopher's I was supposed to read and books on evolution! I'm the only person I know to have read Darwin's entire On the Origin of Species and now I am in the middle of Snowball Earth....which is actually very intriguing-if anyone needs a paper on evolution: its becoming my niche.

Heroes:

Donnie Baseball & Yo Motha

My Blog
