Blakey is a unique young man whose voice has been raised up by God to impact the body of Christ through the message of salvation and deliverance. As an evangelist of the Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor has traveled extensively preaching and ministering in deliverance services across the U.S.Pastor began preaching at the age of 19, where he was taught under the tutelage of his former Pastors the late Dr. William P. Foree, Asst. Pastor Elder Henry Jones (grandfather) and currently Bishop Eugene Stewart of Greater Bethel Temple (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World) church located in Louisville, Kentucky. Pastor preaches the word of God with clarity, power, zeal, and with a sound mind. In 1996, Dr.Lawrence relocated to Atlanta, Ga. where he furthered his ministry in theological studies; he attended Beulah Heights Seminary. He is pursuing his Master’s of Divinity at Morehouse School of Religion Seminary and his Doctorate degree at Lutheran Rice Seminary. He is currently studying philosophy, psychology, biblical theories, homiletics, hermeneutics, and Christian counseling. In 1998 Pastor was licensed and ordained in the ministry. In 2006, Pastor Blakey was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from the Aenon Bible College located in Indianapolis, Indiana.Pastor has worked closely with his spiritual mentors. Bishop Clarence E. McClendon of Church of the Harvest located in Los Angeles, California, Bishop Fredrick Williams of Bethany Refuge Church located in Birmingham, Alabama, Bishop Noel Jones of City of Refuge Church located in Gardena, Ca. and Pastor Paula White of Without Walls located in Tampa, Florida. He is one of the event coordinators for the Gospel Stellar music Awards. He is the CEO and founder of CLK Productions which promotes unsigned artist looking for an avenue and a vehicle into the gospel music industry, the company is based in Atlanta, Ga. He has promoted concerts for such artists of great caliber as Vickie Winans, John P. Kee, Shirley Caesar, just to name a few. He is the author of one of the “most noted books to read”, says Randy Elliott of Nelson’s publishing co. entitled “Damaged Goods”, which will be released soon. Pastor is the host of a local and national syndicated television broadcast entitled “Walking in Destiny”, this vision was given to Pastor back in September of 1998.Pastor has maximized and excelled in what God has deposited in him civic responsibility, leadership, courage, ecclesiastical intellect, compassion and loyalty to new and unfathomable levels. The surgical precision with which Pastor Blakey dissects and disseminates the word of God has resulted in unprecedented reactions to his call. Because of the anointing that has been placed on Pastor has resulted in an energized and encouraged community which stemmed from a disgruntled community and a demoralized people.His mission is to open the prison doors, to set the captives free, and to preach the gospel with different methods, but using the same biblical principals Matthew 9:17. Pastor was nominated and elected as one of the who’s who ministers of America in 1995. He and Lady Kecia (Kesh) has two beautiful kids Cameron Jamal and Lauren Taylor. He is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Judah Temple C.O.G.I.C. located in Atlanta, Ga.He is truly dedicated to his family, the church, and his ministries which was given and assigned by God to be one of his chosen elect, to help lead the body of Christ into their destiny.
