618 - reinvents itself

as you may have noticed...
618 went off the radar for a bit. our local scene underwent turbulence, fights at shows, declining attendance, worsening music, bands splitting up, adding and subtracting members, and things that were detrimental to it's well-being. the 618 took a hiatus. as it's been run faithfully now for a good while, since it's birth in march, we needed a break. we're not paid to do this, and we have real lives as well.
now that the school year has started back again, we're looking to restart things again, and to keep it going. the music scene has improved, and is getting better and better. the infusion of talent from other cities than just our home bases of williamson and franklin counties (not limited to, but including) has done wonders for the diversity of styles we hear. we still need your help. we need bands to send in shows. we need people to offer suggestions. it's your scene, what are you doing for it?
as a result, all current show listings have been removed. we're waiting to get a big base of shows built up. also, our list of conditions (LOC) which states all of the details regarding submissions, conditions of use, and rules regarding content use have been moved into a blog entry, to clear this area up. if you don't read this stuff, or don't take the time to understand it, then it's your fault alone.
