About Me

In 2006, Nick Haberer and Chris Iannachino along with their friend Conor McHale (who Nick had previously jammed with) decided to form a band under the name "Identity Crisis" to enter the St. Michael Highschool Battle of the Band. They didn't give themselves much time, 2 weeks to be exact. They practiced every day of those two weeks and they were confident they would do a good job. The day of Battle of the Bands came around and the guys did a great job...A great job at failing. They didn't place in the competition and did not practice together after that event that went wrong.
Next year's Battle of the Bands came along and Nick and Chris were determined to win. They immediately began searching for friends to accompany them. Chris was friends with Charles Piazza who happened to play Bass. He was recruited as the bassist for the new band. The guys had seen drummer Nick Straughan play during rehearsals for the School Musical "Godspell" which Chris, Nick and Charles were a part of. It was easy to see that Nick Straughan was by far the best drummer at St.Mikes and he was immediately asked to join the band.
Now the search was on for a Singer. This posed the most difficulty for the band. They searched the school high and low for a vocalist that had the abilities the band was looking for. They had no luck searching in their school. Charles, who attended music lessons at the Conservatory of Music in St.Catherines was introduced to Justin Glatt. Justin talked to a couple of the guys through the Internet for a while and occasionally sent them songs that he had written. They knew Justin would be an excellent fit for the band. They then went on to set a date for their first band practice.
