About Me

Reformed in early 2007, Crippling Jack have delighted many North East audiences, most recently giving one of their best performances yet to a sold out Trimmers Arms in South Shields, the boys’ home town, and headlining the "Love Music Hate Racism" two day event at the Customs House. Playing together for the best part of a decade they have innovated, excited and moved with their own blend of gritty rock riffs and soaring melodies. Add to the mix dedicated professionalism and an absolute joy for music, Crippling Jack are an exciting antidote to the photocopiable, skinny-jeaned poster boys mass-produced in middle class garages throughout England. No coiffured, tatty hair or lumbering, stabbing guitar meanderings for these lads. Just pure, unadulterated rock ecstasy.“Unbelievable. Just f@*ing great!”- Jeff Crowe, Crawling Chaos“You could be forgiven for thinking gale force winds were to blame for rocking the Trimmer's to its foundations on Friday night.”- Shields Gazette“It was bold, brash, and exactly what a rock gig is all about.” SouthTynesideToday.co.uk“Giving you a bit of what you like...”- Crippling JackKind Regards CJ
