CHARLY & THE SLAVES

CHARLYS SLAVAR was formed in 1981 by J.B and Liljan. Örni and Schiz joined the band in 1982 and they struggled their way through the local punk scene for a couple of years and released "Fångar" on Massproduktion before they in 1984 changed the name to CHARLY & THE SLAVES, replaced Örni with Eken and delivered music that was inspired by punk, hard rock and the goth scene.
In 1987 Schiz left the band and was replaced by Curt Furumark (formerly known as Bylund). Christian Portin (keyboards) joined in 1988. C.A.T.S fell asleep in 1989.

However, on 6 june they did a one and only gig at Stadshuset in Sundsvall to honour the 30th anniversary of Massproduktion.
The band also announce they are recording two new songs at Shoehorn Studio in Sundsvall this summer, to celebrate 20 years of sleeping! After that they probably will fuck off again.
