About Me

Hi,I am a 'mature' bass guitarist and have played in various bands since the early sixties. I first picked up a guitar in 1960 and was given my very own by my parents on Christmas Day of that year. Like lots of other musos my first band was a Shadows lookalike. We called this group The Phantoms. I have played bass in The Fingers, Legend (with Mickey Jupp)and various other ensembles. At present I am in a five piece group called In 2 Deep. We still play a lot of sixties material and it's great to know that the oldies are still popular.Take care,John
