Born in the land of wood & water and many races, Jamaica. Spent my tiny learning years in Birmingham, the 'Black Country', which was, in retrospect, as good as it could have been, big melting pot of peoples. I wanted to become a dancer, won a scholorship, then wanted to be a singer but my mum dissuaded me from both art forms - so I developed my talents elsewhere: sculpture, photography and painting. I still sing in the shower or when I'm cooking and dance like crazy when I'm ready...and I don't do too badly at all even if I say so myself!
1982, Paris experience, artist, teacher, coach, two gorgeous sons... been quite a trip but have loved every moment of it to date: culture, food, geology, crazy people and access to the arts. Have had group shows as well as single woman exhibitions in Paris and other towns in France, Switzerland and the USA.
The world is my oyster so I'm looking forward to spreading my wings elsewhere and exchanging talents ;-)
I am grateful for all the blessings that have brought me to where I am today, and continue to celebrate life and love not only through my work, but through those who inspire, bring their light, beauty, laughter, knowledge, wisdom and magic into this world.
