My name is James Lee Burstein, from London,I have just completed a three
year Sound Design Technology course at the University of Hertfordshire
receiving a Second Class Honers (Second Division) Degree * 2;2 *. As well
as that, I also was awarded a University prize for the student who has made
the most progress n their three years of study.
I am a freelance Sound Designer/Foley Artist and have designed/composed
the sound effects and music for a Manga Entertainment Limited animation
which was created by David Arthur.
I have also completed the sound and music for another animation
called ' Catharsis ' by Matthias Zabiegly who's work you can find

Also I working on the sound design for the animation ' Walkies '
for David Arthur the animaitor who created the Manga animation.

Apart from that I enjoy helping to promote some local club/rave
nights in London called Bangface & Yardcore, I also assist in taking
pictures and video for the nights.
In my spare time I enjoy creating ambient atmospheric soundscapes as
well as singing.
I am currently in an acoustic 'band' called ' Hillside ' with Craig Hughes

In my final year at university I was asked to sing on two final project
albums, one by Luke Dixon and the other by Ashley Dray. One of these
songs can be found on this page, its called ' Breath Laughter '
I currently have an on going side project with Mimi Mawani & Paul Tilly
called ' The Elbow Extension project ' where we both collaborate to create
music in the genre's of Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Down tempo trip-hop and
breakcore etc..
