Al Gutta is a Philadelphia native who graduated from a music school in South Philly. His influences range from growing up without a mother or father to experiences spiritually, influences from different neighborhoods, to relationships, to being a black man trying to hold a family together without a legitimate example. Al Gutta get's his passion from growing up in a hip hop culture in Philadelphia that birthed MC's and groups such as Black Thought and the Roots, Journalist, Beanie Sigel, Cool C and Steady B, Tracy Lee, Ram Squad, Major Figgas, Bahamadia, Da Phat Kat Clic, Cassidy, Eve, Philly's Most Wanted and Sandman to name a few . Performing in a number of ciphers on South Street to ciphers up North Philly, AL Gutta shows a balance in his music with a wide range of concepts that can help the average human being relate. In November 2006 AL Gutta was introduced to the Street Spittas by a mutual close friend and brother, (Smoke). This began the start of a powerhouse that will soon take over the airwaves. AL Gutta has released Gutta Chronikelz Pt.1, and has been featured on The Comeback, Drama Lounge, The Network's Traingle Offense (Thero Street Muzik), and is getting ready to drop Gutta Chronikelz Pt.2 Time 2 Eat September, 2008.
