About Me

Studio35D is the project name of Rene Splinter’s electronic music productions. Since 1986, Rene has been building up his electronic music studio and created several soundscapes and tracks, heavily inspired by the German electronic rock genre (Berlin School) of the early eighties.

In 1989, he created his first album project called ‘Almery’. The album was released on MC and several tracks were aired on ‘Maneuvers in het Donker’ (Belgium radio show). Since then, many more tracks were recorded, but never released.

During the last few years, Rene decided to continue under the pseudonym Studio35D, seriously working on new material. Recently, some of his work from the early nineties has been recovered and remastered for possible future release. More of these projects can be found in the media player.
