YOU have only ONE life to live. Live it to the fullest! And remember...HAPPINESS is ultimate success

About Me

I edited my profile at LayoutSource.net , check out these Myspace Layouts
Born in Vietnam, raised in Canada, and now living in Los Angeles, California. I guess you can consider me a Vietnamese Canadian who is a wanna-be American...haha! I've been living under California's sun for almost six years now, and as much as I love Canada I must admit... I'm hooked! It also helps that I met the love of my life here who is now my wonderful fiance. ♥
Despite the fact that I have no memories of Vietnam and have never been back to visit (but will someday!), I am very cultural. I am proud to admit that I am still fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Vietnamese. I love Vietnamese food, music, traditional clothing, and the list goes on. I guess you can consider me a proud Vietnamese!
As a Vietnamese growing up in North American culture I feel very fortunate to have the best of both worlds. Apart from being cultural, I am a homebody who also enjoys going out and partying. I love homemaking: cooking, decorating, gardening, etc...but I also love to party until the wake of dawn. My passion in life is to involve myself in rewarding opportunities. I guess that is one of the main reasons I'm in the medical field; the other is that I'm simply fascinated in the mechanism of the human body. Overall, I am easy-going, honest, cheerful, fun-loving, down-to-earth, girly, and did I mention cultural?

My Interests

Working out and eating healthy, cooking up a storm, dining out, shopping, hanging out with friends, movies, hiking, any outdoors activities, decorating, flower-arranging, playing the piano, Tahitian and Hula dancing, especially fond of exploring the arts, and of course shopping, shopping, and more shopping!

I'd like to meet:

Cool people around my age living in LA who are down-to-earth but like to have a good time also. Evan and I love to go out to the clubs and parties in Hollywood (why not? while we're young and without baggage!), but we often like to do outdoors activities such as hiking and biking or just chilling at home. We're pretty well-rounded people who still enjoy a carefree young life while keeping in mind our values, responsibilities, and ambitions. I find it difficult to make very good girlfriends out here in LA. So, I'm always looking for a cool gal to befriend. Preferably someone who's drama-free, down-to-earth, easy-going, likes to have fun, and is girly like me!

I AM CANADIAN

Music:

I wasn't "hooked" on Rock and Alternative until I met Evan, and have no clue how I ever survived without it! I'm still new to the music and just beginning to discover the bands (I know..how sad!), but The Fray and Aeon Spoke are undeniably my favorite bands thus far.

I can't get enough of 80's music either and often find myself having a blast going to places hosting 80s coverbands. Being cultural as I am, I have to admit I enjoy listening to traditional Vietnamese music as well from time to time, especially songs by Nhu Quynh (it's so relaxing!). Sometimes I would put together a home-cooked Vietnamese meal and insist that Evan and I enjoy it while listening to traditional music...poor Evan! Without a doubt, Rock and Alternative music currently rule my world!

Noi Lai Tinh Xua So soothing to listen to! Check it out!

Movies:

My all-time favorite romantic comedies must be Forget Paris, Fools Rush In, Love Actually, Hitch, and While You Were Sleeping. I know I know....I'm such a chick!

Television:

24, Hero, Lost, and So You Think You Can Dance and somehow American Idol!

NEW PICS!

Books:

These days I don't read as much as I'd like to. Books that I've enjoyed in the past have been written by Stephen King and John Grisham. Since I'm such a chick and love fashion and make-up Lucky magazine is my fav read and second to that is Women's Health.
