About Me

I'm a supernumerary with a local opera company. A supernumeray, or "super" for short, performs the non-singing, non-speaking roles in an opera. I've been a monk in Romeo et Juliette and a servant in La Traviata. See my personal blog at luindriel.blogspot.com for all the juicy details.

I study voice with a great teacher at Westminster Conservatory. I love it!

Several people have asked me what "As If" is supposed to mean. At first I put it in as my headline as a space holder until I could come up with something clever. We recently got new neighbors (yes and now someone named Susan lives in three houses in a row) and this newest Susan's license plate is "As If." But all these random local guys have been sending me emails and friend requests. As if.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Deceased: Mozart (although I've heard he wasn't very nice!) and Jane Austen. I'm sure there are others but my mind has gone blank!

Currently still with us: Anyone who has composed or performed music that has moved me, entertained me, made me laugh or made me cry. I would love to have the opportunity to thank them for touching my life.
