Cutting his teeth in the fiercely competitive Boston scene 15 years ago, Mike Prior has been featured at literally hundreds of comedy clubs and colleges across this country. Using his high-energy persona, Prior takes to the stage like the Tasmanian Devil. Within seconds he has the audience rolling in the aisle as he uses his unique brand of self-deprecating humor. The way he figures it: “if you can’t laugh at yourself, rewrite the punchline.” Once Prior first took to the stage he knew that making people laugh was what he had to do.Throughout his career, Prior has had the opportunity to open for such stars such as Weird Al Yankovic and country singing sensations Lori Morgan and Randy Travis. Prior has been featured on cable television shows such as MTV’s Half Hour Comedy Hour and Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Stand-Up”.
