Tall, dark and handsome. I teach high school. I am retired military. I love God, sports, history, music and politics. I like to make people laugh. I like to fight for the "underdog"! I have little time for trivial pursuits or "shallow" people. I am an excellent chess player, but an even better checker player. I have coached football and basketball. I am actively involved in community service and outreach. I love working with young people. I am a die hard Redskins fan! I like to meet people with a "seriousness of purpose". People who like to laugh and enjoy life. People who are willing to take a stand on important issuses. People who like to make a difference in the community. I like to meet political and religious leaders. I like to meet people who like to carry on serious discussions and debates. I especially like to meet beautiful and intelligent women. (just seeing if you were still reading this!) I like to meet Christian people who are committed to their faith.

Gospel, R&B, soul and comtemporay jazz.

Movies:

I am not a movie person. I watch westerns, documentaries, biographies and some comedies, if they are really funny.

C-SPAN,Gospel channels, News Talk Shows, NFL Channel, ESPN, Western Channel,TV1, Some HBO and sports events.

Books:

The Bible, Political Science,government, history, biographies, Non-fiction, and religion books.

Heroes:
