RBreland started his musical endeavors playing the piano at age 5 and playing for his local church by age 15. Stepping into the R&B/POP scene RBreland has discovered his ability to write and vocal produce R&B/POP artist. Although, it's' been just a few years he's already worked with EMI "hit-songwriter" Lil' Eddie whose' written for Mario Winans, pop singer JoJo, Kylie Minouge, Paula Abdul, Joe and many others. EMI/Usher Raymond's producer Soundz, Malay, a multi-instrumentalist Making the Band producer, Sony BMG David Anthony, Janet Jackson/Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Soundtrack".
RBreland knew he wanted to make a career out of his musical gift, after high school he attented Jones County Jr. College where he studied Vocal Performance and then later on attended Jackson State University studying Broadcast Journalism. In 1998, RBreland joined Malaco recording artist Benjamin Cone III and Worship. While under his leadership, RBreland had the opportunity to sing background vocals for other gospel recording artists such as Lillian Lilly, Carolyn Traylor, The Messengers, Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, and the late Reverend James Moore. RBreland has also appeared on the BET Bobby Jones Gospel Hour and shared the stage with Kirk Franklin and Nu Nation, Vicki Winans, CeCe Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Ricky Dillard and New G and other artists.
RBreland relocated to Omaha, NE where he served as Director of Music for King Solomon Baptist Church. During this period, valuable and lasting relationships were formed. These relationships allowed RBreland to work with and instruct many choirs and musicians, including the Mutual of Omaha Gospel Choir. Now residing in NYC, RBreland is ready to take the music industry by storm. He's accomplished many of the difficult tasks in the gospel world, and is now ready for the almost politcial R&B/Pop and Hip-Hop side of the Entertainment Industry. No matter what genre it is, what seperates him from many and puts him in a category with few is his love and passion for music. RBreland is ready now, and you will soon be able to hear this through many your favorite artists.
