III GUYZ fr. SEATTLE

About Me

Started in 1994 while Maddt and Timb were still in high school. III GUYZ was heavily influenced by Nirvana at the time, in fact, III GUYZ started as a sort of Nirvana tribute, covering Nirvana songs and sometimes changing the lyrics to comic effect. The name was a sardonic poke at the trendy grunge bands of the time. To be successful, you had to be III GUYZ fr. SEATTLE!

From 1995-1996 III GUYZ got together several times and recorded a collection of covers and originals that became the basis for the never-released debut album "Pepsi Sucks" which turned out to be a never-released collection of classic tracks.

Time and distance split the duo for several years but then brought then together again in Tucson during the second half of 2002 to record the legendary genre-hopping original album "3 x 3". Recent plans have been sketchy, but intentions are to regroup and record a follow-up.

Much love to everyone who supported us back in the day, came to our tiny private shows and kept us company while we were doing 48-hour songwriting binges, especially to little Laura Meyer with her hair on fire.
