Andre Sinico

Born in Brazil, in 1983 into a musical family, Andre Sinico began his flute studies at the age of twelve. At the age of fourteen, he met Savio Araujo , with whom had private classes for three years in Campinas.Mr. Sinico earned his Bachelor in Music - Flute Performance from State University of Campinas , where he studied under the guidance of Mr. Araujo. He also worked under the guidance of Marcos Kiehl , with whom he had private lessons for a period of five years.Teaching, Performing and Recording ExperiencesMr. Sinico is Professor of Flute at Carlos Gomes Conservatory in Campinas, and he was an Assistant to the Professor of Flute at State University of CampinasFor four years, Mr. Sinico was a flutist in Youth Symphony Orchestra of Campinas under conductor Simone Menezes. And in others opportunities include accomplished conductors Parcival Modolo, Carlos Fiorini, Leandro Oliveira, Joao Mauricio Galindo, Eduardo Ostergren, Erik Vasconcelos, Sergio Dias and Nelson Nilo Hack.And as a flutist, Andre Sinico had his participation in two recordings. "Padre Jose Mauricio Nunes Garcia - Obra Profana" with the Brazilian Colonial Music Festival Orchestra, under conductor Sergio Dias; and "Festa no Céu" Homenagem ao Compositor Ernst Mahle with Youth Symphony Orchestra of Campinas, under conductor Simone Menezes.Andre Sinico has an active career as a chamber music performer, in ensembles with guitarist Daniel Kacelnik pianist Cleo Branco. And Mr. Sinico played with the Croatian pianist, Ivana Marija Vidovic, in her tournee in Brazil in 2007, where they gave the Brazilian Prèmiere Audition of Iverje by Vladimir Berdovic.Mr. Sinico has performed in some great venues in Brazil, including Sala Sao Paulo, Sala Villa-Lobos - UniRio, Levino de Alcantara Theatre, Sala Martins Penna - National Theatre in Brasilia, Embassy of Portugal in Brazil, and Center Cine Theatre in Juiz de Fora.Festivals and Master classesMr. Sinico has a special interest in music festivals and master classes in Brazil, where he joined classes under Michel Debost, Keith Underwood, Michael Faust, Anders Ljungar-Chapelon, Jed Wentz, Michael Titt, Jorge de la Vega, Lucas Robatto, Sergio Barrenechea, Marcelo Barboza, Antonio Carrasqueira, José Ananias Lopes, Angeleita Floyd, Angela Jones-Reus, Bridget Bolliger and Odette Ernst Dias.Mr. Sinico is based in Brazil, with intense activities both as a music performer and teacher.
