About Me
The Victory Hour is a local band from Abingdon, MD. Originally Yell vs Chant, The Victory Hour started out as any band...trying to spread their love of music with everybody else. Their Pop Rock/ Folk Rock ways make it easy for listeners of The Early November, Cartel, and even Circa Survive to enjoy! They play just about anything anywhere like at venues, parties, get together, or anything else you could think of. The Victory Hour plays locally and sometimes out of state, so keep an eye out for up coming shows!
Even before Yell vs Chant, original members Nick Noel and Jesse Staley were running ideas through their heads. Though most original songs aren't played anymore, these songs got the boys on a roll, and would lead to alot of hard work and good times down the road. Over the years, The Victory Hour has pumped out over thirty songs, some always used, some never used, and some forgoten about and lost: (
Nick, Jesse, Ben, and Zach all met through both school and family friends. Nick and Jesse were always friends, and were first introduced to Zach though a family friend. Ben followed about six months later when he got the word that a local band needed a bass player. After a few practices, the guys became good friends, and over the last four years, their music and following has grown.
The Victory Hour rencently recorded at Four Horseshoes Recording Studio( The Apathy Eulogy, Dropout Year, Things That Fly) with John Cotter, and came out of the process with the two brand new songs, "World in the Middle" and "Without Your Friends". Listen to them, and give some feedback! They will be going back in the near future, so make sure to always keep a look out for brand new stuff!
The Victory Hour is always eager to meet new really cool people, just like you! So, when you see them out or at a show make sure to stop and say HEY: ) You are the reason they write songs, and why they play shows, so always be looking out for new shows, merch, music, and news because its all for you: )
