MySpace Profile Editor !After a 27 year hiatus The Bethels have regrouped to spread the gospel in song again. The Bethels have always been a family group and remain so today. The current group represents the fourth and fifth generation of Bethel Family Singers. The group consists of sisters Deanna "Bethel" Morgan and Donna "Bethel" Fontaine, with the addition of Wendy Showalter (Donna's Daughter). Watch as the sixth generation, Wendy's children Lane (age 8) and Kailey (age 5) are singing and performing. There has always been something special about the blending of voices from the same genetic family. The group has captured that unique and special quality in their renditions. Although they seek to please their audience with a variety of gospel styles, their personal favorite is "Southern Gospel". The Bethels were honored to be apart of the National Quartet Convention Talent Search for 2006, in Louisville Kentucky, their first time to go. The group placed seventh in the top ten out of 60 groups. They were also nominated for "Best Trio" in The Eddie Crook inaugural awards for 2007 and nominated for "Best Trio" for STGMA for 2008. The Bethels have the "Come And Sing" project available for purchase. Their single release from this project, "He Chose This Valley" has been listed in the Singing News top 100 songs.
