Richard Owen & The Heartland Band

Richard and the guys have been together since 2001, They have 40+ years in the music scene. Richard, Ernie, and Jimmy has opened for mainliners in their past years, before they decided to raise families and finally become "Heartland". They have played all over the State Of Missouri. They have played at the Country Swing Convention in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Richard, Johnny, Ernie, & David grew up in the state of Missouri. Dennis Came from Tulare, California and has been here since 1978. Jimmy came from Washington in 2003. Jimmy was inducted in Northwest Hall of Fame for Country Swing in 2003 as well as the Midwest Hall of Fame for Country Swing in July 2004. Richard, Ernie, and David has written and compsed their own music. Johnny is a D.J. and has been in radio. Dennis has composed music with and for other people who have written lyrics.They cut their first CD in 2005 as Heartland, with a lot of their original material. The guys make a great team. All of the guys share vocals. The band is very close, and is there to give help and support when needed, including Benefits to raise money for organization. The wives all are very supportive of their husbands and are very close. The girls know how much the men love to play and enjoy tagging along with them! We have seen them play at benefits, with no pay and miles away from home. They play as if they were making millions, whether its for 10 people or a hundred people. The stories this band shares are endless....
