My husband's been at me for a while about this, so I guess I should take a moment and fix it. Not that it was broken, just not completely correct anymore. Alex J recently suggested, "Three wrong isn't that bad...," however that doesn't mean I should be a slacker. Or if I'm going to be, I should probably have a better excuse than one a nine-year-old makes. :S (That was a very poorly crafted way of sharing my son's fabulous nugget of logic. I almost peed my pants trying not to laugh when he said it in an attempt to not have to study anymore.) So, here' we go.
This part still seems okay. Dorky, but okay:
Where to start? I'm a bad girl gone good. Well...not really. I'm a girl who's gone toady. Whatever. Grew up in Big Sky country and moved to Oregon in '93. Though Montana will always seem a fantastical place to me, Oregon is my home now. I met my husband via the internet (resounding applause for computers) in '03 and can't imagine what life would have been without him. I'd previously been married, but obviously that was just a warm-up. I got two beautiful kids out of the deal though, so I'm not really complaining. Then I got two more beautiful kids out of the current deal, so I'm not complaining about that either.
Okay - here's where I should have made a nice parachute type comment so I wouldn't have to go back later and edit. The Kids v2.0:
Shae, the eldest of the kid clan was born October 9, 1996 - now you get to figure out how old she is. Clever, no? Next in the bunch is my step-son Alex M. He was born March 23, 1997. Next is my son from the warm-up...Alex J. He was born August 23, 1998 (had to be induced - guess he liked it in there.) And no - we don't have any trouble with them having the same name. They know who's in trouble. Then the dry years - no nooky :( - no babies :). Then my husband and I met. Turns out you can get pregnant if the lights are on! Roger and Jacob came along on October 30, 2006. One day shy of Halloween, but one day past when they were supposed to come along. Not bad for twins. So yeah, that's five kids. (I'd like to take this opportunity to say I never meant to contribute to the world's overpopulation.)
Really? You're still reading? Okay...
As far as making a living, I toiled away in jobs I could do for years, and finally figured out what I wanted to do a while ago. I'm now a practicing LMT and absolutely LOVE it. I get paid to touch naked people! Seriously though, I get to go to work each day and make people feel good - how cool is that?!?
Pets? Yeah. Two cats. (Text omitted due to extreme lack of necessity.)
Life has been an interesting ride. I've laughed, I've cried, I've gone to movies and heard that stupid tag line. (Did I really say that? *thonk*) I've found that growing up is a lot of fun, and can't wait to see what the next turn in the road holds in store.
Wow - you made it to the end. That was like one of those songs that are on the radio that just seem to go on and on and you really want to change the station, but you find you're singing along and you don't mean to because Damn It! you hate this song, does it ever end?
A video I put together recently of the family out and about all to the feel good sound of Luce's "Good Day".
