This is an Adventure was formed to bring the party. The band’s brand of electro-dance music is infectious and fun. Playing packed rooms sticky with the heat of perspiration; ANdrew and Zalo were able to forge a frenzied live show that truly takes on a life of its own. Bodies pulsate rhythmically to the notes of their sequencers and synthesizers, while they lyrically pour their hearts and souls.
Their self-titled debut, This is an Adventure, includes ten, hook-filled, heart-pounding, and heavily-passionate tracks. The intensity of the band is well summed up as ANdrew wails behind a distorted auto-tuner that “It’s all wrong…It’s all wrong,†in their first single “Fantasyâ€. A surefire club hit, Zalo’s bit-crushed kick and snare pilot a path through the dark emotive melodies which leave the listener gasping for air.
