‘I remember leaving school to go to art college and feeling bored and uninspired. At the same time something else had begun to happen. THE ACID HOUSE. A new music phenomenon was being born which fascinated me. Skippy break beats, hard base lines, Acid/Tech sounds with haunting synthed up riffs. I’d never heard anything like it before.'
'It was at this time my interest in music overtook everything, this music had energy. It got inside you, changed the way you felt. Acid House may have moved on and the scene changed but the fascination remains the same.’
'It began from there so I bought music. Once I began playing, the move from parties to playing out didn't really begin until quite some time later.. when I met 3 guys starting their own electro night 'Krakajax' on the London club scene. The fast paced events began picking up speed quickly, and me, along with some other guest DJ's were invited. Once Krakajax were signed to produce their own material, the night's momentum propelled further. Spots included Edge Club, Jamm Bar, The White Rooms, Ministry of Sound.'
'At the same time I'd been following some of my own stuff.. guest DJ for bohemian party organisers 'Nowhere', playing themed parties at secret locations and a while later resident at industry afterparties for 'Immigrant Records'. Most recently with 'Rhythmatic' at Egg, for the twins at 'Double Trouble Productions.'
