About Me

Ageing Rocker! Enough said. Double Bassist, Currently learning Bass Guitar (but enjoying myself) After getting married and taking care of a wife & 2 kids, its my time again. I am looking for a rockabilly/rock'n'roll band in the Manchester/Northwest area and get back to 'the good old days' of gigs, recording and house sessions.....excellent!I used to play years ago but peoples circumstances changed and people drifted apart. But I've found that second wind if you like and I'm rarin' to go.My Bass is picked up by a brand new nano-flex shadow bass pickup with built-in pre-amp(wow!)which I then push through a brand new line 6 lowdown LD150 bass combo(double wow!) plenty of pre-sets and setting shifts on this baby! All I need now is my brand new band.So if you or your band need a Double Bassist for playing Rockabilly and Rock'n'Roll or Blues send me a message and (distance permiting) perhaps we can sort something out!

Lee Rocker. My only living hero and main source of inspiration for the double bass. (He plays just how I like it, rich, deep, dirty, lowdown dog of a bass you ever heard. Also keen to slap the strings on the fingerboard for the ultimate sounds)oh! and members of my new band. (yet to be formed) but it will happen. (i want to be gigging again around september/october)boring people like me.anyone whos bored and needs boring some more.anyone who's superboring and wants to join a boring club (sunday mornings only please as the rest of the week i'm far too busy being boring)
