A Brief Intro to previous Hunts
Hunt I
The first Hunt arose out of the need for Chy and Sarah to do something a little less grown up (ie silly). Why not organise a little "Schnitzeljagd" round Clapham and why not raise some money in the process... Why not indeed?! T-shirts were sponsored by the organisers and prizes collected from the local businesses. Teams were asked to hunt for various letters of a magnara... anagram. These letters were taken from various clues on the way round Clapham.
The total amount raised on the 1st ever Clapham Hunt reached over £1,500.
Hunt II
Starting off at the Micro Bar on Lavender Hill in Clapham.
Teams got their pictures taken and were given their complementary T-Shirts (sponsored by the Microbar).
Teams were also given a goodie bag.
In the goody bag there was a map of Clapham (With a highlighted route) that people had to follow around. There were various cryptic questions involving various places and scenes in Clapham.
Points were given to correct answers and also there was a bonus part where you had to attach as many items you could find beginning with a certain letter to a clothes-hanger.
The route bought teams all the way back to the Microbar, where their totals were totted up, prizes given out and delicious food and drink was served till late
Hunt III
2006's theme was based on Monopoly, but instead called msfopoly.
Teams started from Lavender Hill Studios, following a route around Clapham ending up at the Microbar (who again sponsored the t-shirts), where their totals were totted up, prizes given out and delicious food and drink was served till late. (Do you see the running theme?)
Each Team is given 3 hours to complete the hunt by foot - the route can easily be completed in less than that - allowing for a 'refreshing' drink or two.
