About Me

The year is 1984 - a heavily pregnant young woman's waters break and she is rushed to hospital. Moments later she gives birth to a wide-eyed healthy baby boy. Fast-forward to 2007 and that baby boy is now a young man known as Bravo aka Playboi. In 2000, a 16 year old Bravo [back then known as Mastar B aka Filla Kidd] started to write ryhmes and rap over popular industry instrumentals. He then linked up with school friend 'Eman' [back then known as Evil-E aka E Double] and would make tapes of songs using basic production software and a £10 microphone in his bedroom. The group, which included another school friend 'Schemah', parted ways for several reasons until early 2006. EMan and Bravo were both motivated and equally enraged with disgust by the state of the UK urban music industry, that they devised a master plan for success by setting up their own totally self-run production company and label 'Volume Ent' to be the outlet for their 1st official mixtape 'M.U.T.E' (Moving Upwards To Expand) With that sitting firmly on his resumé and creating a buzz in all corners of London and some parts of the north-west, their next goal is to release another mix tape in the summer of 2007 and promote themselves to the next stage ie. videos, radio, live shows etc. The aim with mission is to express and establish himself as an artist independantly without the 'help' (interference) of a major label, so by the time his solo EP arrives, there will be no doubting the talents of Bravo. The available tracks exhibit Bravo’s all round natural abilities in a traditional hip-hop mixtape setting combined with electrifying demonstrations of his raw talent and ability.
