About Me

My eleven year old son is named Dylan. I named him after the Welch poet Dylan Thomas. He lives with his mom in Pearland and he and I are together on alternating weekends. Politically, I'm liberal and am leaning more socialist by the year. Progressive politics: Democrats are frequently too conservative for me. I subscribe to The New Yorker, Harpers, The Progressive and Newsweek. Radio: KPFT 90.1, KUHF 88.7, but mostly listen to CD's I enjoy reading & saltwater fishing. Learning is a lifelong passion for me. I exercise regularly, albeit sometimes reluctantly. I want to learn to play the guitar. I can cuss like a sailor but am truly hard to anger and pretty easy going. I'm spiritual & God conscious, but not into organized religion at all--it's more of a personal thing for me.

My Interests

HOBBIES: passive anarchism, alternately listening to Marxist Hip-Hop & Bach's Goldberg Variations, getting King George into rehab to avoid the apocolypse, organizing my sock drawer, dirty women, clean women, obsessing over my cuticles, writing reviews of lesbian erotica, dealing with resentments with voodoo-dolls & needles, grinding through an unending number of mouth guards, obscure thinking, wondering if Steven Hawkins is happy, chain smoking, staying continually in a sexually repressed state, cold showers, avoiding responsibility, brooding, fucking off, being happy, being sad, being serene, black coffee, black women, registry tweaking, thoughtless endeavors, erotic daydreaming, weaving cardigans from cat hair, reading Heinrich Hertzberg in the New Yorker, pissing off conservatives, determining a marketable use for ear wax, surreptitiously convincing others that I'm right, opening doors, taking things apart to see if I can put them back together again, ironing, magic, bittorrent, Paint Shop Pro XI, dissing the Vista OS, eating diet jello, taking ibuprofen, keeping odd hours, eating ise-ewu with fufu, living a spartan existance, reading, writing & confusing parts of speach, forgetting things, stock market sector analysis, wiping my ass, collecting clipped nose hairs, watching Hardball on msnbc, buying things and trying to return them sans receipts, eating Timmy Chans take-out, tryng to use less muscles to frown than the amount I'm told it takes to smile, putting peeps thru acid tests, continually changing bifocal prescriptions, ordering shit I don't need off the internet, listening to Pastor Deacon Fred's sermons, but most of all being amazed at the continual persistence of life on this planet regardless of man's overbearing presence here. -----------------------
