Some call it the moment of truth, others call it a revelation. Either ways it leaves us transformed.Shayan experienced that moment at ARC, New York to be precise. As hundreds of heads bopped and bodies swayed under Sander’s control. Shayan stood and watched his hero preach his hypnotic laced house. He saw the power of music and the power of the one who played the music. Somewhere deep in his heart, this desire for power became an ambition.Musically inclined from childhood, this Pakistani native spent the next few years in the US in great company. From watching his friend Dan Sampson open for Tiesto at Glow to afterhours discussions with Josh Gabriel, Dave Dresden & Dubfire to marathon weekends in Miami. Shayan critically analyzed every beat, every breakdown, every groove that made it through his ears and this sharpened his own skills and shaped his own style. A style which is as deep as Howells, as funky as Desyn and as melodic as Sasha. With all the groove you expect from Sander and Luke Fair. The last year has seen Shayan grow from private party spinner to center stage at the countries hottest dance music events.Shayan enters 2007, working on his debut compilation & twin CD in partnership with fellow native Jockey Faisal Baig. And not content with just spinning, Shayan has recently dived into production & DJing with Ableton live to really set the creative juices free.So as we were saying, in one perfect moment Sander changed his life….
