Biography
Risen from the ashes of Sacramental Sachem, Fuelblooded bring their unique brand of melodic death-/thrash metal to the masses since early 2002. Fuelblooded equals variety. Fast versus slow, melodic versus brutal, catchy versus complex, epic versus in-your-face - all these dichotomies have their place in Fuelblooded's music. Add abundant variation in vocal styles for a complete picture. Combined, this makes for the very distinctive and intense kind of music Fuelblooded plays.

History
Fuelblooded is a name from the new Millennium. However, from as early as 1989 up to the beginning of 2002 the band paid their dues by the name of Sacramental Sachem. In 2002, after several line-up changes, Sacramental Sachem decided to change their moniker to Fuelblooded. Small tours with The Defaced (S), Darkane (S) and Arch Enemy (S) followed, as well as the release of the 2002 promo - which sparked international label interest. Continuous line-up struggles forced the band into a decision to record their debut album 'Inflict the Inevitable' as a fourpiece.

The new album
'Inflict the Inevitable' was recorded in different phases over the course of 2004. In december of 2004, after the recordings were completed, the band headed off to Denmark, where mixing and mastering duties were fulfilled by Jacob Hansen (Mercenary, Invocator, Raunchy, Communic). The album was released worldwide by Copro Records on March 20, 2006.
On 'Inflict The Inevitable', the band take their sound to a new level. Better songs, combined with a lethal production, make 'Inflict the Inevitable' a must-have for all melodic death-/thrash fans. From the fullspeed thrash assault of album opener 'Art of life' and 'Constructive Destruction', via the melodic midtempo crusher 'Measure Swords', to the slow and pounding sound of 'Dissector of Souls': the whole range of sounds is displayed on Fuelblooded's first full-length album. Strategically placed in the middle of the album is the atmospheric title track 'Inflict the Inevitable', which serves as a perfect interlude to 'Hate of a Thousand Ages' and the rest of the album. Prepare yourself for one hell of a ride!

Live
Fuelblooded toured the UK together with Dutch melodic deathstars Detonation in May 2006. Shows with Decapitated, Six Feet Under, Gorefest and Textures, among others, followed while touring the Dutch clubcircuit extensively.

Members
September 2006 marked the end of the co-operation with vocalist Vital Welten. He was almost immediately replaced by Peter Brinkman, of Aura (nl) and Zilver (among others) fame.

The Fuelblooded line-up is currently as follows:
Peter Brinkman - Vocals
Michiel Rutten - Guitars
Danny Tunker - Guitars
Michel Steenbekkers - Bass
Norbert Moen - Drums

Danny Tunker and Michiel Rutten are endorsed by Koch amplification and SIT Strings. Michel Steenbekkers is endorsed by Mayones and SIT Strings.

Future
Fuelblooded will continue to tour in support of 'Inflict The Inevitable' for the remainder of 2008. At the same time the band is working hard to write the material for the upcoming sophomore album. With new vocalist Peter Brinkman aboard the future is looking bright!

Sounds Like:

'With the Blazing guitar-work more likely to be heard in some virtuoso jam-session, you'd be hard-pressed to find a moment where axe-wielders Michiel Rutten and Danny Tunker aren't managing some impressive feat of finger-breaking contortion....Fuelblooded are having too much fun to give a fuck.' - Kerrang magazine

'With their debut album 'Inflict the inevitable' just out on Copro, it's cunning blend of Power, Rock, Thrash and smatterings of Death Metal have prompted comparison with Megadeth, Soilwork and Carcass, which is heady company indeed.....A well-crafted musical puzzle.'Terrorizer Magazine

'Special praise is entitled to the duo Rutten/Tunker : their riffs saw the hardest oak, their tasteful Leads drive like a hot blade...' - Obliveon Magazine

'A agressive thrash-bastard that has the technical skills to play in the major league. As musical references I'd use Darkane and Soilwork with the side-note that Fuelblooded play with more balls.' - Aardschok magazine

'What is more brutal than Iced Earth, more melodic than Meshuggah and learned from Gothenborg-Sound without copying In Flames? Right. Fuelblooded. No wonder those newcomers from the Netherlands hit the bull´s eye with their debut-album....'Stalker Magazine

'Fuelblooded combines Nevermore's style of power-thrash with Mercenary's brand of melodic death metal to create a new and brutal monster for the metal community to fear. The riffing is very, very heavy and thrashy, but always retains a sense of melody. The guitar work is just awesome on this album. The leads and solos are technical, melodic and memorable. The vocals are a mix of sandpaper gruffs, death metal growls and clean singing. It really fits well with the music. This album kicks your ass from the first note until the last. There is no slowing down and there is no filler. This album was a very pleasant suprise and will definitely please fans of thrash and melodic death metal. These guys really need to get some exposure. This could be one of the most refreshing/promising metal debuts I have ever heard.' Transcending The Mundane
